I visited the IKTT in February 2006. There I could admire Mr. Morimoto, his master weavers and hundreds of young weavers in the workshop. They all together work so hard to preserve the heritage of the traditional textile culture of Cambodia. In the shop of the IKTT I discovered the shining golden silk of the Kmer and ikats of the highest quality in town. All colours are natural. As a silk lover I liked to have a look at the complicated weawing process. For me the IKTT is a special place to discover very rare objects of pure silk. When you buy something you will have a little bit part in the future life of the weavers and their families. Be sure each thread of silk is a thread of hope.
