I stayed at Number 9 for a week. It is an amazing place, lots of character and so chilled out. The staff are wonderful and so incredibly friendly. I met so many people here as it's such a sociable place. If I ever return to Phnom Penh, I will definitely stay here again.

Number 9 is THE best guesthouse on the planet!! I have just returned from a two week stay there (after previously living there on and off for 3 years) and as someone who knows a reasonable amount about Phnom Penh - you would be cray to stay anywhere else!! I agree that the staff treat you like family and are always happy and smiling, and the last thing they want to do is rip you off. Do yourself a favour next time you are in Phnom Penh - forget the stink of the city and head straight to NUMBER 9!!!!

I arrived at number 9 Guesthouse by mistake in the June of 2005. Number 9sister is even better. I will never consider any other place to stay. Inexpensive, friendly, relaxing and….a lots of tourists from allover the world. Limited choices in the menu and alcohol, but enough to get by. The stuff is available 24/24 to accommodate you. Motorbike Taxi can even sleep outside the gate to be available first hour for your next trip Anton – Paramount/USA - June/2005

I've lived at that guesthouse for over 10 weeks on various trips to PP and I am treated like family there. Beautiful staff and great service!
