The area around the intersection of Sihanouk and Monivong is a thriving little corner of the city. Sihanouk between Monivong and Pasteur harbours a number of expatriate and visitor oriented businesses including restaurants, hotels, computer shops, a couple of fashion boutiques, a bakery and an international market. In the evenings, several BBQ chicken stands set up just east of Monivong slowing traffic and filling the air with the aroma of charcoal smoke and roast chicken. Monivong between Sihanouk and Street 310 is lined with fresh fruit stands by day and noodle shops by night.
